This joint paper, co-authored by Ahmed Al Hinai from ARA in collaboration with Weatherford, explained how advanced digital oilfield solutions for real-time well monitoring and optimization improved well performance by integrating the real-time data with advanced models.

Since implementing the Automatic Allocation and Deferment software, ARA has optimized daily allocation rates for over 80 wells. Deferment volumes have dropped from 4% to 1.8%, while field performance improved from 0.80 to 0.95% . Additionally, the workflow has reduced some monthly man-hour requirements by as much as 90% and increased production by 2% without additional OPEX or CAPEX.

The workflow’s input and output database is seamlessly integrated with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and other cross-domain applications, enabling efficient analysis and faster decision-making across operations.
