ARA Petroleum understands that the Tanzanian Petroleum Development Corporation has awarded a contract for the construction of a pipeline from the Ntorya gas field to the Madimba Gas Processing Facility.

The contract has been awarded to China Petroleum Pipeline and China Petroleum Technology & Development Corporation. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract was signed last week at a ceremony and construction of the pipeline is expected to start in shortly.
